Anticipate an arrival around 11:30 AM. En route, you’ll have the chance to experience the Southeast Asia area’s longest and newest bridge. As you arrive, a warm welcome awaits at Azalea Cruise’s lounge, where a special tea treat awaits.
Around 12:00 PM, get ready for a transfer to the Azalea cruise via a tender ride. At 12:15 PM, we’ll extend a hearty welcome as you step onboard, followed by smooth check-in procedures. Savor a Welcome Drink, get familiar with the cruise plans, safety guidelines, and complete the check-in. With all set, the cruise will set sail, commencing your exploration of Halong Bay, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
By 12:40 PM, the Azalea cruise will set a course for Da Chong islet, home to a century-old lighthouse built by the French. Before that, a sumptuous lunch awaits. Post-lunch, we continue our voyage through the Con Vit and Gia Luan islets. These towering limestone karst formations dramatically rise from the sea. This route is lesser-traveled, taking you through Cat Ba Island – Thoi Quyt area – Coc Ngoi islet – and Cua Van village to Ba Trai Dao area.
At 3:00 PM, we’ll head to the serene Ba Trai Dao beach area in Lan Ha Bay, a hidden paradise in Vietnam celebrated for its untouched beaches and stunning landscapes adorned with nearly 400 captivating islands. Unlike the more populous Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay’s islands are lush and relatively petite.
Feel free to indulge in kayaking or a leisurely swim, immersing yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the bay in the Ba Trai Dao area. As the sun starts its descent around 5:30 PM, relish the mesmerizing sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin as we return to the Azalea cruise. Join in a traditional cooking class onboard, where our chef will guide you through crafting delightful Vietnamese dishes. The early evening hours also offer a Happy Hour deal onboard.

Around 8:30 AM, set off for the day boat, embarking on a visit to Viet Hai village. Explore the village path on a bicycle, meandering through rainforests and a mysterious tunnel. An optional electric car service is available for added convenience, though at an extra cost.
