Nhat Le Beach is situated in Dong Hoi, Quang Binh Province, home to World Heritage Site Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. The sand here is fine and white with clean water.
Nhat Le beach is located on the mouth of the Nhat Le River emptying into the Vietnam East Sea. There is a four-star resort at the opposite bank of the river and another under construction.
Nhat Le Beach has sea morning glory (Ipomoea pes-caprae) with purple flowers on the sand creating extremely wild and romantic beauty. Nearly one kilometer away from the center of Dong Hoi city, the beach is gifted with white sand and clear blue sea. It is considered the most romantic among beaches in Quang Binh.
Dong Hoi has a 12 kilometre coastline with a number of beautiful beaches including Nhat Le, Quang Phu and Bao Ninh, attracting a large number of visitors to Quang Binh province.
The most ideal time to visit Nhat Le is from May to August. In addition to sea bathing, visitors also have an opportunity to see Bau Tro vestige.
In 1923, a French geologist excavated and discovered remains of primitive Stone Age people 5,000 years ago. This is the point of intersection of the Vietnamese and Cham cultures.
