Song Xanh Sampan Private Cruise 1 Night Itinerary is an inspirational package that we have designed in partnership with Victoria Cruises for travelers to experience the real life of the local Vietnamese people living along the Mekong River.

This 2 days cruise itinerary starts from either Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho, offering the chance to experience the real life of local Vietnamese people, to visit Phuoc Hau Temple with scripture stones, incense-making workshops, and also to have a boat ride along a canal bordered by mangrove trees.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho – Long Phu.

You will be picked up by our local team at your hotel at 8:00 am and transferred to Cai Be by road. The Song Xanh Sampan Private Cruise begins from Victoria Can Tho Resort jetty at 10:00 am. Welcome on board with cold towels and a refreshing drink while the boat sets off for its leisurely cruise on the river.

Cruise the waterways of the Mekong Delta, observing the endless boat traffic and the quiet but constant activity along the banks. Enjoy shore excursions to gain insight into how the local people make a living by visiting workshops that make incense sticks and other handicrafts.

Lunch is served on board while sailing towards Tan Qui Islet, located on the Hau River between Tra Vinh and Soc Trang. After lunch, stop for a short visit to the Phuoc Hau Temple. Before arriving at Tan Qui Islet, enjoy a row boat ride along a canal bordered by mangrove trees on both sides and visit a mushroom farm or a distillery making rice wine.

Dinner is served on board while the Song Xanh sampan. Enjoy your night on board your sampan as it moors in Long Phu.

Day 2: Long Phu – Tran De (to Con Dao Island).

Breakfast is served on board before disembarking from the Song Xanh Sampan at Tran De, Soc Trang – A gateway to Con Dao Island. For travelers taking the speedboat to Con Dao, breakfast can be served as early as 6:00 am.

Notes

Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.

Meals on board are fusion. Vietnamese and international. Guest should advise of any special food reference, allergies or dietary requirement at least 1 week prior to the cruise date.
