You move on then to the former Presidential Palace. The Reunification or Independence palace offers a glimpse of what could have been the president’s official residence, if not for the coup. Whoever has designed it and esp styled it, deserves an award.
Continue your discovery traveling by the Notre Dame Cathedral, officially Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception is a cathedral located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established by French colonists, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880.
You pass by the Sai Gon Central Post Office, near Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city’s cathedral. The building was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the early 20th century.
You make a stop at lacquer ware workplace, and spend the rest of the morning exploring the Ben Thanh market.
Travel back to your hotel. Trip finishes around noon.
