The Luang Prabang Cycling Day Tour takes you through many local villages such as Ban Xieng Man, Ban Na Kham, Ban Houay Tan… Enjoy local food and spend time cycling in rural areas.
We start the day with a downhill cycle to the boat docking station. By boat, we’ll cross over to Ban Xieng Man village. We then cycle to Ban Na Kham, which is known for growing sugarcane and cooking sticky rice in bamboo sticks. We have time to explore a bit and sample this tasty snack.
Continuing, we head to Ban Houay Tan (a Khmu village) and enjoy a picnic lunch (ordered from your hotel). After lunch, we take a quick walk to see the incredible superannuated and aged mango tree – it is over 500 years old! With feeling of youth restored, we’ll bike to Ban Chan Neua and Ban Chan Tai, both jar making villages. From here we hop back on a boat to the city and your hotel.
