Half Day Tour Hue takes you to the lagoon of Tam Giang, a new travel destination in Hue. The half day trip is designed for those who like exploring and hunting amazing photos. Highlights include experience the life of a fisherman, taste local food, take a boat trip on Tam Giang lagoon and explore the countryside of Hue.
Met up with our local guide, car at your hotel in Hue and brought to Tam Giang Lagoon. Covering up to 22,000 hectares of water surface, Tam Giang Lagoon is the dating place of three big rivers, O Lau, Huong and Bo, before they run into the sea through the Thuan An estuary. It takes only about 30 minutes to ride along O Lau River then pass through Bao Vinh ancient town and to Vinh Tu wharf and reach the Tam Giang lagoon.
Make a stop for tea break at homestay in My Thanh wharf. Then we take a bike ride to visit the house’s exhibition of fishing tool.
Take a boat ride across the lagoon to visit aquaculture premises, observing and trying your luck at catching a fish with the help of a local fisherman.
Keep cycling around the village, visit vegetable farms and rice fields. Continue to Thuy Lap weaving craft village. There you have lunch at homestay. You see bamboo weaving at Bao La village with local artisans in highly skilled craft.
On the way back to Hue city, stop and visit Thu Le Temple – the central communal house of the region.
Back to the hotel. Trip ends.
