Cao Bang Travel Highlights in 3 Days Tour begins from Hanoi, taking you to the north east Vietnam, Cao Bang, Lang Son. This short excursion from Hanoi, north east loop Vietnam offers the chance to enjoy beautiful landscape of karst mountain ranges surrounded by rice fields, untouched minority villages, the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam – Ban Gioc waterfall, and the primitive Nguom Ngao cave.

Cao Bang Travel Highlights in 3 Days Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Cao Bang (-/L/D)
7.30 AM: Picked up at your hotel in Hanoi and brought to Cao Bang (approx. 7h). Stop en route to visit tea plantations. Learn the process of making green tea then explore the household wooden manufacturing. You have the chance to do faming works at tea farm. Keep driving to Bac Kan Town. Lunch is provided in a local restaurant. Then heading to Cao Bang City. Arrive Cao Bang in the late afternoon, check in hotel, and take an optional short walk to explore the mountainous city before dinner out at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cao Bang city.
Day 2: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave – Thang Hen Lake (B/L/D)
The day begins by driving to Phia Thap vilage, a village of Nung ethnic. In Phia Thap village, you have the opportunity to learn the way of making incense. You are encouraged to take part of making incense process as craft workers. Keep traveling to Khao village. The later village is known for weaving and embroidering handicraft. Make another stop to visit/discover the village. Then head to Pac Rang village to experience Black Smith works. Have lunch with local people.
The day is not ended yet as we venturing our trip by car along the asphalted road to Ban Gioc waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. This area is also the most isolate places in Vietnam and bordered with China. Take a fresh air breath in Ban Gioc waterfalls. Then you move on to Nguom Ngao cave. The primitive cave has brilliant stalactites and golden pole.
We end the day by venturing off road to visit a Nung village in Lung Muon. Take a short walk to discover this village before traveling to Tra Linh. Arrive at a beautiful Thang Hen Lake in the late afternoon. Go swimming if weather permit. Dinner and overnight in a local guest-house in Thang Hen.
Day 3: Thang Hen Lake – Cao Bang – Lang Son – Hanoi (B/L/D)
Depart Thang Hen Lake at 7:30am, heading to Cao Bang City. Take a coffee break at Cao Bang city before driving back to Hanoi. Stopover in Lang Son to visit a local market and having lunch, and then we go back Hanoi in the late afternoon. Tour ends at your hotels at around 5:00pm.
