The Sapa Bike Tour starts from Sapa, takes you to Lai Chau, Tam Duong. Highlights of the day tour include challenging on your pedal over the highest mountain pass of Vietnam; Stunning landscapes of Hoang Lien Son mountain range on both 2 sides; Meeting the Red Hmong, Lu and White Thai tribal peoples.
Group meeting at 08.00am for tour briefing and bike prepararion. Start cycling from Sapa at 08.30, challenging along the national road 4D up steep mountain 18 km Silver Waterfall and onto Heaven Gate at the top of the Tram Ton Pass, the highest road pass in Vietnam. Stop for walking around the Heaven Gate for magnificent scenery of both 2 sides of the mountain range.
Riding downhill for 2 hours along the zig zag road, enjoy several photo stops before arriving to the foot at Chu Va. Paying visiting to this small village of the Red Hmong. Then continue along the road for 12km to Sin Cau village of the Zao Tien. Explore this village before luch break by the river.
Continue on pedal through Binh Lu Valley for an hour, passing villages of the White Thai, Zay and later paying visit Pa Pe villages of the Lu who dye their teeth black and maintain a very strong traditional way of life. Stop biking in mid afternoon and transfer along the road 4C back to Sapa. Trip ends.
