Mai Hich Homestay is provided in Mai Hich commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province, northern Vietnam, about four hour drive from Hanoi city. While Mai Chau becomes a hot, popular place for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists, Mai Hich is a better place for those looking for an off the beaten path holiday.

Mai Hich is enriched with the fascinating indigenous cultures of the Thai and Muong ethnic populations, as well as the regions beautiful mountainous landscape and special local food.

Traveling to Mai Hich, you should plan two days at least since it already takes 4 hour drive from Hanoi (a half hour from Mai Chau). The area also offers different activities that can keep you busy for two or three days – hiking, cycling, river rafting, traditional folklore and dance performances…
