Tam Cung Cave – Halong Bay

Tam Cung cave is located in the middle of Halong Bay, Quang Ninh province, northeast Vietnam. To visit Tam Cung grotto, you need to take a boat trip from Tuan Chau pier. The boat trip takes about 1-2 hour before it drops you off at Tam Cung cave. There are three spaces in Tam Cung cave, thus the cave’s name was given «Three Palaces ». There are beautiful stalactites in the shape of human, flower and animals. Coming to the first space, you may hear interesting sounds like T’rung, a Vietnamese traditional musical instrument. To the next surprise, you see shape of the fairy man leaning against his stick. From the ceiling, there is a classifier of hydrangea blossoming in the jungle of stalactites.

From the first to the second space, people have to pass through a narrow slits with rough steps. In the middle of the second space there is a small spring which flows all year round.

In the last space, visitors would see grandiose embossment with strange shapes but in a very sophisticated way.
