Ta Phin cave is located by Ta Phin village, about 10km from Sapa town, Lao Cai province, north Vietnam. Ta Phin village is known for its traditional handicrafts. The Red Dao inherits a medical remedy for many precious treatments. There is a remedy to take care of women after they give birth. The woman only needs to soak herself in the herbal water. She could be then prevented from inflammation and dermatophyte. Another remedy to cure foot’s aches and pains includes about 20 types of leaves. Apart making traditional medecines, Ta Phin people also maintain embroidery profession.

Ta Phin cave is located near the village. There is no electricity to light up the cave inside. You will need to have good torches to discover the beauty of the Ta Phin grotto. There are stalactites of different shape.
