Phu Ninh Phu Tho, a mountainous district of Phu Tho Province is located the northwest Vietnam, about 3 hour drive from Hanoi. Humidity is high during the monsoon season from May to October with the annual average figure of 85%; in the dry season it goes below 80%. Precipitation is in the form of rainfall, most of it falling during the monsoon period. Most of the rain usually falls between April and September.

Getting to Phu Ninh

The best way to get to Phu Ninh from Hanoi is to rent a car with driver. You will be picked up in Hanoi and directly brought to Phu Ninh Vietnam. Those who are on budget can take local public bus. There are few direct buses from My Dinh bus station to Phu Ninh. Otherwise Hanoi Viet Tri bus takes about 4 hours on road. Upon your arrival in Viet Tri, you can either take Phu Tho local bus or motor-taxi to get to Phu Ninh. Booking a guided tour (with a tour guide) is highly recommended. An English-speaking guide is really helpful in an such off the beaten path destination like Phu Ninh Vietnam.
