Me Cung Cave – Halong Bay

Me Cung cave is located in Ha Long bay, Quang Ninh province, northern Vietnam. Take our 2 day Hanoi Halong bay tour to discover Me Cung cave at your own pace.

The gate of the cave looks like a house’s gate, which is carved into the island body. Me Cung cave is on Lom Bo islet in the height of 25m above the sea level. There are beautiful stalactites.

The hillside of Me Cung is separated into many parts. However, it is very narrow but very beautiful. The gate is only enough for one person and there is a light inside, which is the way-out. After coming out of the cave, there is a small lake of emerald water.

Besides, there are many ancient trees, which could be named by every visitor. Right in the Me Cung cave, there are also many relics of the pre Ha Long culture. The era of newly stone was about 7000 to 10,000 years from now. The Melia spring is about 1,2m thick and locates in the outside.

All prove that Ha Long is the place of pre-culture of Ha Long, which is still available until now. On the island, the ancient trees reflect upon the water. This is also residence of birds, and monkey.
