Lim pagoda is located in Lim town, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province, northern Vietnam. Lim pagoda is about 1 hour drive from Hanoi. Lim Pagoda is worshipping Hieu Trung Hau, who invented Quan Ho, a special folk song, which includes betel offering, hailing ferry and others.

Stretching back over 500 years and recently recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity’s intangible heritage, Quan ho is a living historical record of the daily life of Vietnamese people.

Lim Festival opens annually in the first lunar month in the year. The main day of the festival is 13th day of Lunar New Year. At the beginning of the festival, the locals gather very early in a procession up to Lim Hill – the center of Lim Festival.
