The Ly Bat De Temple or Do Temple Bac Ninh, located in Dinh Bang commune, Tu Son, Bac Ninh province, is a temple near Hanoi of which the central section was built in 1028 on the death of Ly Thai To, and the complex enlarged as seven of his descendant Ly Dynasty emperors were also buried at the shrine – Ly Bat De means “Eight Lý Emperors”.

This gateway and temple are beautiful. Along, the pathway is an avenue of trees with Aqua plaques purchased by politicians to bring them luck. The temple is well maintained and the gateway has a beautiful mural. Inside huge incense burners and statues grace the entrance to the temple.

In this temple, you will be impressed by the photos taken in some old days with strange phenomenon in the sky. 9 clouds symbolize for 9 Kings of Ly Dynasty.

This temple was not has busy as the Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh, and gave a chance to take some clear photos with family. A very beautiful temple well worth the visit.
