Ba Den Mountain Festival – Tay Ninh

Ba Den Mountain Festival is held annually on the 18th and 19th day of the first lunar month in Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh province. The festival is organized to worship Linh Son Saint Mother – Ba Den. It is one of the largest festival in the South of Vietnam and attracts many tourists in spring each year.

Ba Den Mountain is 986m high which is highest in South Vietnam. Looking from far, Ba Den area has a unique shape like a giant colonial hat on the white silk scarf with the landscape of legends in the expanding land time. The ecological land in the mountain is quite plentiful with many grass trees, wood trees and precious animals.

The Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival is much boisterous than Via Ba Festival. Pilgrims go there for religious reasons as well as for sightseeing. The landscape displays its beauty in the fine weather. In the 20km-long route from Tay Ninh to the foot of Ba Den Mountain pilgrims from near and far crowd the road.
