War Remnants Museum is located at 28 Vo Van Tan, in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. It contains exhibits relating to the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists.

The War Remnants Museum was established in September 1975. It comprises 8 themed exhibition rooms containing countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting American war crimes, most of which are photographs and war artifacts galleries. Such documents illustrate the killing of civilians, spreading of chemicals, torturing of prisoners, and the effects of the war on the north.

The museum’s courtyard displays unexploded bombs, planes, tanks and helicopters. There is also a small “green” corner reserved for the exhibition of children’s drawings on the war. Illustrating dreams of a bright and peaceful world, these pictures raise our hope and faith in young generations for a new world without wars.

Over the last 20 years, over 6 million visitors entered the War Remnants museum. Among this number, nearly 1 million were foreign visitors, including American tourists.
