Car rental in Vietnam is relatively inexpensive and considered to be convenient. However, travelers who are unused to foreign travel should be aware that, in general, renting a car in Vietnam means renting a driver with the car. Also note that self-drive car rental is not available to foreigners as the road in Vietnam is chaotic, bump and some of them are under construction or are blocked. In addition, in Vietnam, driver is always on the left while in some countries driver is on the right so you will probable be relieved that you got a driver.
