Day 01: Hanoi - Halong
Transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong pier.

Embark on board around 12:00 hrs, welcome on board of Halong Ginger and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.

After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Seafood dinner & overnight on board.

Optional: At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant.

Day 02: Halong - Hanoi
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto, then return to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the pier. After lunch at Royal Park Restaurant, transfer back to Hanoi (accommodation is not included in package price).

Halong Bay is a body of water of approximately 1,500 square kilometres in north Vietnam with a 120 kilometre coastline, in the Gulf of Tonkin near the border with China, and 170 kilometres east of Hanoi. "Vinh Ha Long" —Halong Bay — means "Bay of the Descending Dragon" in the Vietnamese language. Ha means "descending" and Long means "dragon" in Sino-Vietnamese.
